She is passionate about the area, particularly its safety, cleanliness, and plentiful walking and hiking trails.
Born in Lima, Peru, Soraya grew up in Massachusetts and Rhode Island before eventually moving out to California. A long time resident of the Bay Area Soraya and her family have lived in the beautiful East Bay since 1984. Her real estate career began in 2006 when she obtained her real estate license and began working in new home sales for a small builder. She made the transition to Coldwell Banker in 2007 and is a thriving agent in the East Bay. Prior to becoming a real estate agent, Soraya graduated from Tufts University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Experimental Psychology, with a minor in Human Factors Engineering. In addition to her academic achievements she has achieved many industry awards and designations and has been a consistent top producer and in the top 2% of Coldwell Banker agents worldwide.
For Soraya, one of her favorite aspects of being a Realtor® is helping her clients achieve their real estate goals. Whether they are first-time homebuyers, move-up buyers, or sellers, she prides herself in helping her clients. Soraya deems herself as the fairy godmother of sales, taking her clients’ wish lists and manifesting their desires into their dream homes. Even when it takes a little bit of vision, Soraya guides her clients through every step of the real estate process. In fact, many of Soraya’s clients turn into lifelong friends, even after the sale is over. With such extensive experience in selling new homes, Soraya works diligently to help her clients find their dream homes. While Soraya works with buyers, sellers, and investors from all walks of life, her areas of specialty are working with clients in Orinda, Moraga, Lafayette, Walnut Creek, Alamo, and other areas of the East Bay.
Along with her work as a Realtor®, Soraya is actively involved in her community through a number of causes. She previously served on the board for STAND! For Families Free of Violence and the board for the Women’s Initiative. When she isn’t turning her clients’ real estate dreams into reality, you can find Soraya spending quality time with her husband and three sons, cooking, traveling, hiking, and volunteering.
